Request a foundation evaluation
Call if something changed quickly, like a crack that opened this week or a door that suddenly won't close. Otherwise, send a request and a local foundation contractor will call you back.
Before you call
It helps to have:
- Your address and town, so the request reaches a contractor that serves it
- Whether the house is raised on piers over a crawl space or built on a slab
- What you're seeing: sloping floors, sticking doors, cracked brick, gaps at trim
- When you first noticed it and whether it changes between wet and dry months
- Any past leveling or foundation work, warranties or inspection reports
Tell them if the house is raised or on a slab. Plenty of Monroe-area homes sit on piers over a crawl space, and the contractor will bring different equipment for a crawl space than for a slab.
